What does not get compared
Revenue. Our estimate models RPM from traffic geography and category, and it has no idea which network a site runs. Putting it beside a peer median would suggest a payout comparison the number cannot support, so the benchmark leaves it out entirely. Everything above is something we read off the page.
Peers are sites in the same category and traffic band. Where a band holds too few sites, neighbouring bands are pulled in until there are enough to quote a median, and the report says which range it used.
